Hailing from the Philippines, Nancy’s story is one of resilience, passion, and a commitment to making a difference, both professionally and personally.
A Rich Cultural Heritage
Nancy’s roots are deeply embedded in the rich traditions of the Philippines, the largest Catholic country in Asia. With a love for family and food, Nancy exemplifies the warmth and hospitality her culture is known for. A fun fact? The Philippines is the largest texting country in the Pacific, even if its traffic remains legendary!
Outside of work, Nancy finds joy in cooking, walking, gardening, and reading – activities that bring her peace and keep her connected to her surroundings.
A Journey Through the Cleaning Industry
Nancy’s professional journey with The Clean Space began on 1st July 2024, but her history in the cleaning industry spans over 13 years. She joined us when The Clean Space acquired Abelian UK Limited in 2020, bringing her wealth of experience and adaptability.
Although Nancy modestly describes her industry experience as “not very extensive,” her background has made her transition into her new role seamless. As she navigates her training, her proactive attitude and previous expertise have been invaluable to the finance team.
What Makes The Clean Space Special
For Nancy, working at The Clean Space is a refreshing experience. She values the well-organised systems, efficient payroll and accounting processes, and the supportive culture. Despite working from home, she feels connected to her colleagues, thanks to regular communication and the monthly townhall meetings that bring the organisation together.
Nancy’s favourite aspect of her role? The unwavering support from her team. “I have yet to meet anyone that is not helpful,” she shares, a testament to the collaborative environment at The Clean Space.
Goals and Aspirations
As she continues to grow in her role, Nancy is eager to expand her contributions, particularly in financial month-end reporting and payroll processing. She is inspired by The Clean Space’s ongoing growth through acquisitions and looks forward to being part of this exciting journey.
Beyond her professional aspirations, Nancy hopes to dedicate her newfound flexibility to engaging in volunteer work for the elderly – a cause close to her heart.
